Daniel Cormier does not think Israel Adesanya deserves a rematch against Sean Strickland

UFC commentator Daniel Cormier praised Sean Strickland, who dismantled Israel Adesanya at UFC 293. Cormier provided his thoughts on the aftermath of UFC 293 on his YouTube channel. He disapproved of Dana White’s thoughts of an immediate rematch.

Cormier is a credentialed mixed martial artist, and his words hold weight. He believed that the division needed to move on. Getting a second immediate rematch is not warranted. Cormier is no stranger to rematches as he had rematches with Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. DC even had a trilogy with Miocic.

Cormier is one of the best analysts and commentators in MMA right now. He was cage side with Laura Sanko and Jon Anik, witnessing UFC 293. Cormier interviewed Sean Strickland before UFC 293. Strickland was full of praise for Cormier, who had fought hardship to carve his space in MMA and wrestling.
