UFC middleweight title contender Sean Strickland made headlines once again for his controversial comments. Strickland has always voiced out about his views on the LGBTQ+ community and identifies as conservative. He is gearing up to fight middleweight champion Israel Adesanya at UFC 293 and has reached Sydney, Australia, for the pre-fight preparations.

Strickland recently took to Twitter to roast Sydney as he had troubles with customs at the airport on his arrival. However, it looked like Strickland had a change of heart. Strickland revealed that he was in Sydney and was surprised as he believed he would be surrounded by “dirty liberals” and “gay and trans flags.” He also said, “Literally zero.. maybe America is the problem lmao!”

Strickland is known for his trash-talking skills in real life and social media. Strickland has a negative view of liberalism and the LGBTQ+ community. He has made several remarks on social media and in interviews that indicate he has conservative views on various subjects, including gun control, abortion, and LGBTQ rights.

He has trash-talked Adesanya multiple times on social media and went back and forth with the champion at the UFC 276 press conference. Even though Stylebender has warned Strickland about the consequences of trash-talking him, there is no doubt that Strickland will not hold back.
