Joe Rogan on Dana White’s gambling proclivities
Joe Rogan, the celebrated UFC commentator and podcast host, once delved into the captivating world of Dana White‘s gambling habits. White, the UFC CEO, has already earned a legendary reputation for his affinity for blackjack. It is a passion that led to casinos imposing restrictions at the tables.
In an episode of JRE, Rogan vividly recounted an incident in Las Vegas where he witnessed White engaged in a high-stakes blackjack game. Rogan was surprised to see White facing a daunting $600,000 loss. Expanding on White’s penchant for gambling, Rogan referenced a recent video from a vacation where White wagered considerable amounts on his boat. The mention of a casino setup on the boat added an extravagant layer. This emphasized the lengths to which White goes to indulge in his passion.
An interesting thing to note is that UFC fighters and their family and coaches are banned from betting on MMA fights.
