UFC commentator and comedian Joe Rogan is shocked after learning that being healthy is an obsession with the ‘far right’ extremist ideology. Rogan took to Twitter to express his views by saying, “Being healthy is “far right.” Holy f*ck.” He was speaking about an article published by an American news channel MSNBC that was written by MSNBC columnist Cynthia Miller-Idriss.
The article spoke about how fitness took over youngsters during the pandemic and has attracted the far-right extremist group. It also mentions how fitness and martial arts have been used to recruit youngsters to the group. They also talk about how there are fascist fitness chat groups online that use health tips and positive physical changes in order to lure new recruits.
It goes on to mention how physical fitness has always been central to the extremist group. Miller also talks about how Hitler talked about Boxing and Jiu-Jitsu in his autobiography ‘Mein Kampf’ he believed with the correct training and love for the “fatherland” would help him create an aggressive army of soldiers that would be better than ‘mediocre’ tactical weapons training.
Rogan was also met with support from billionaire Elon Musk who commented on his post saying “Parody & reality are becoming indistinguishable“. Rogan has recently faced backlash after UFC fighter Sean Strickland cracked a joke about nazi culture on his JRE podcast.
