The UFC returned to host its first event in 2024 at the UFC APEX today. It featured some exciting fights, from the preliminary card to the main card. Marcus McGhee faced off against Gaston Bolanos in UFC Vegas 84. As soon as the bell rang, McGhee pressured Bolanos and threw strikes relentlessly. Later in the second round, ‘The Maniac’ caught Bolanos in a spinning kick to rock him. Then, he continued to land a few more powerful strikes, and the referee intervened to stop the fight. Although Marcus McGhee secured a highlight knockout, he remained humble in victory. As such, he respected Gaston Bolanos in his octagon interview with Michael Bisping. As such, ‘The Maniac’ acknowledged Bolanos for his kickboxing credentials and stated he was blessed to beat him in his own game. However, even after an impressive fight, he refused to call anyone out and left the matchmaking to the UFC officials.
