Ashley Yoder, after her UFC career, appeared on Squid Games season 2. The acclaimed Netflix series of the same name inspired the reality game series. The reality series is named Squid Game: The Challenge, and it is a British production

Yoder shared her experiences of competing in the reality series in a recent Instagram post. This is what she posted on her Instagram:

Yes , I was on Squid Game: The Challenge.. I was player 332 .. and after weeks of interviews and anticipation it wasn’t until after I stepped foot into the UK hotel they kept us in the at I knew something was off.. this whole show was pre determined and they treated the majority of the cast really bad.

Apparently, the reality series was scripted. Moreover, she, along with other contestants, faced bad treatment from the organizers. This was far different from what Yoder expected. The former UFC strawweight was very disappointed in what transpired at the reality show. Incidentally, the show from which the competition was inspired was brutal.

Yoder had an 11-fight stint in the UFC, where she went 3-8, with her professional MMA record standing at 8-9. However, she was never finished in her career as she lost all her fights via decision. In the UFC, she fought perennial names in the division like Mackenzie Dern and Angela Hill. She fought Hill twice, losing both times.

Ashley Yoder signed with the UFC after a decision victory over Amber Brown on Invicta FC 20: Tony Evinger vs. Yana Kunitskaya. At the time, she had a professional MMA record of 5-1. Moreover, she made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 102 against Justine Kish, losing unanimously. Furthermore, she would go on to lose her next two bouts to Angela Hill and Mackenzie Dern via unanimous and split decisions, respectively.

Yoder’s first win in the UFC was against Amanda Cooper via split decision. She would follow it up with a unanimous decision win over Syuri Kondo. Incidentally, The Korean Zombie headlined the events she won consecutively. However, consecutive losses to Randa Markos and Livia Renata Souza followed the victories.

Yoder broke her losing streak with a dominant win over Miranda Granger at UFC Fight Night 182. However, she would lose her next three bouts to Hill, Jinh Yu Frey, and Emily Ducote, ending her UFC career. Moreover, her win over Granger is her only appearance on the main card of a UFC event. However, she was the main event of the preliminary card on multiple occasions.
