Alex Pereira

Alex Pereira is a whole different beast than the rest of the middleweight division and you cannot do anything about it. Pereira showed the levels of his fight IQ when he settled up his powerful hook on Sean Strickland’s chin who was getting already too close to Pereira, sadly which was not a good idea at UFC 276. Pereira got the knockout victory secured in the first round of their fight.

What’s next for Pereira seems nothing other than a title fight against the winner of Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier. Pereira however prefers Adesanya to win so that both can face each other for the third time. The first 2 times were Pereira’s moment by the way of decision and knockout back when both fought in Glory Kickboxing, where Pereira has a legacy of being the first fighter to hold 2 belts simultaneously.
