Former middleweight champion Alex Pereira is one of the most dangerous fighters on the planet. His Kickboxing days saw him knock people out cold on the canvas. He is undoubtedly a feared opponent in the UFC. In a recent video online, Pereira’s sons planned a prank on “Poatan,” which could’ve gone horribly wrong.
In the video, Periera’s sons planned a jumpscare on Poatan with a scary outfit. One of his sons wore the scary outfit, and the other one recorded the prank. When Pereira entered and turned on the lights, the dressed-up son tried scaring the Kickboxer. However, Pereira’s first reaction intended to unleash a scary right hook to the face. However, in the end, he held that punch off. Later, when he realized it was one of his sons, the former middleweight champion didn’t seem happy about this prank. Reacting to this video, a fan said, “My bro was 1 second away from death.“
Further, many other fans on Twitter gave their reactions to this video. Many fans believed that doing such a deed against this lethal UFC fighter could be as scary as it gets. Some fans even mentioned that Pereira’s son was lucky not to get hit by his father. Many who’ve been hit by Poatan have failed to get up.
The former middleweight is currently competing in the light heavyweight division. His recent win against Jan Błachowicz could potentially earn him the title fight. Pereira’s eyes are set on the vacant light heavyweight world title, which previously belonged to Jamahal Hill.
