T.J. Dillashaw has responded to recent comments by Dominick Cruz in which he slammed Dillashaw for getting a title shot just after one fight since his return in 2021. Dillashaw was tested positive for using erythropoietin in pre and post fight test and was suspended by the New York State Athletic commission for one year. Dillashaw was also suspended by the USADA in 2019 for 2 years to use PEDs.

He made his return in 2021 to fight Cory Sandhagen and won the fight via a split decision. T.J. is rumored to fight Aljamain Sterling for the bantamweight title, and Dominick Cruz seems upset about the move.

Cruz, in his recent interview, said: “Sounds like a hook-up to me. He got two years off, didn’t really lose any money and then just gets right back up in the title picture. It’s not like he had an easy fight; Cory Sandhagen’s no joke. But still one fight? Pedro Munhoz and all these other people that are in the division that have just been competing, competing, competing, it’s crazy. “

T.J. responded to his comment in his recent interview and claimed that Dominick Cruz was being salty. Watch the interview :
