The fighter showed interest in having a new efficient team and starting over again in order to win.
” I haven’t get some sparring. I haven’t sparred in over three years. Probably a little bit more than that. Like I’m talking about good sparring like good team sparring. These guys are out there with, they’re finding like world-class sparring they have a team. They have all this stuff. I don’t really need to have that but I want to have that,” said Ferguson.
Although lack of sparring can indeed affect the performance during the fight, it might not be the only reason for Ferguson’s poor performance. Ferguson has been fighting for a long time now there are many other reasons like top-level competition and the impact of accumulated damage which might have been ruining his overall performance.
