Ryan Spann just shocked the entire world with his performance at UFC Vegas 54 against Ion Cutelaba in a wonderful light heavyweight matchup.

Ryan Spann headed into the UFC Vegas 54 event with a chip on his shoulder. The amazing finisher was coming off a loss to Anthony Smith and had a huge challenge ahead of him in Ion Cutelaba. Spann took on Cutelaba in the co-main event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Spann absolutely shocked the fans with his performance as he finished Cutelaba in the first round.

Ryan getting a finish in the first round is not as much as surprising as him choking out Cutelaba with a deadly choke. Spann and Ion went toe to toe from the get-go as they exchanged some huge punches. However, Spann got a hold of Ion 2 and half minutes into the fight and strangled him from the feet.

Ion could not help but tap out to Spann after some constant trash-talking leading up to the fight. The “Superman” got MMA Twitter reacting wildly as he choked out Ion.
