‘It’s not even a conversation’ – Twitter reminds Ali Abdelaziz on who’s the real welterweight GOAT

Recently, ESPN’s combat sports reporter, Marc Raimondi and Ali Abdelaziz made a tweet about Kamaru Usman. In the tweet, Raimondi asked a public question about Kamaru Usman catching Georges St-Pierre as the UFC welterweight Greatest of all time. He wrote. :

“Legitimate questions mailbag: Can Usman catch GSP as the UFC welterweight GOAT? .”

Reacting to the question, Domination MMA president and Usman’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz replied back by confirming that Usman had already heated GSP in the GOAT conversation.

“He already did This is not even a conversation,” wrote Abdelaziz.

Usman won the welterweight championship after defeating Tyron Woodley at UFC 253 and has defended on five occasions. The pound-for-pound ace has already cleared out the division twice and is looking invincible at the top.

After Ali Abdelaziz made that tweet it attracted massive attention from Twitter users who came forward with different perspectives.

A user named @tonyv1299 mocked Ali Abdelaziz that it’s not even a conversation because Usman cannot match GSP.

“You’re right about 1 thing. It’s not a conversation. Not even close to GSP.”

The user also gave a solution on what Usman should do in order to be the welterweight GOAT. He explained, the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ should fight with Leon Edwards and beat him again. Then he should take on challengers Khamzat Chimaev and Shavkat Rakomov.

“Have him fight Leon and beat prime Leon for the 2nd time, beat Chimaev, beat potentially Shavkat Rakmonov, and go up to Middleweight and fight Whittaker (who I think is the toughest matchup for him) since he won’t izzy, and then maybe it’s a conversation.”

Another user named @90k replied by revealing that in terms of skills Usman is better but GSP’s legacy is much higher than the welterweight champion.

“Skills, maybe. Legacy, nah.”

An user mocked Abdelaziz and said Usman is nowhere near the level of GSP. The conversation is not even close.
