“Nobody can stop him from doing that,” Tyron Woodley claims Sean Strickland doesn’t need permission from the UFC to spar Jake Paul

Tyron Woodley promotes the idea that former champion Sean Strickland could have sparred Jake Paul in an unsanctioned match.

The only thing stopping Sean Strickland from sparring with Jake Paul is himself. That is how former UFC champ, Tyron Woodley opinionates it for the unhinged “people’s champion.” Middleweight peer, Robert Whittaker might consider him mildly holistically angry. But even beyond the bounds, the likes of legendary Steve Austin think Strickland could easily cross over to WWE due to his unfiltered demeanor. Hence, Woodley doesn’t for once consider anything that can stop ‘Tarzan’ from conducting an unsanctioned spar.

Putting all this into context is Rumble streamer, Sneako, sparring with Strickland recently. The 185lber mercilessly obliterated Sneako with a barrage of full-powered left strikes. With crossover MMA and boxing stints being all the craze, influencer-boxer Jake Paul thus invited him over. However, Sean Strickland proactively disregarded it out of hand. At the “Real Shhh Right Quick – Ep. 7” segment of his YouTube channel, here’s what Woodley said on the matter:

Legally they [UFC] cannot stop him from sparring Jake Paul...He can spar with anybody he wants to...You saw Nick Diaz sparring with Andre Ward...You think that was a great idea? No! You seen me sparring with Kid Chocolate...All these different people that are obviously better fighters than us but that’s how iron sharpens iron. He can spar Jake Paul...Nobody can stop him from doing that.

At ‘The Problem Child‘ offering up a sparring session, Strickland proceeded to slam Jake Paul’s ‘fake’ PPV numbers after meeting with UFC top brass for a potential crossover fight. In his video reel, Strickland explained that UFC CBO and head litigator, Hunter Campbell blocked the offer, citing legal ramifications.

Tyron Woodley, however, advocated that legally nothing can stop him from an unsanctioned fight at his gym, just like with Sneako. he presented this as a “hater move” from Strickland. He also nudged that Hunter Campbell might just have snubbed it due to his extreme beatdown on Sneako.

Sean Strickland exposes Jake Paul’s lack of PPV sales, in light of the boxing crossover offer

Sean Strickland might not have some of the best quotable one-liners in the UFC/MMA history. But his bigotry slurs sit very well with certain fan bases. Champion, Raquel Pennington recently slammed him for his demeaning commentary on homosexuality and about WMMA in a homophobic tirade during an official presser. Strickland had also ripped ‘LGBTQ ally’ reporter, MMA Fighting’s combat sports journalist Alexander K. Lee. Hence, Tyron Woodley claims that there’s very little that can legitimately hold back such a fighter.

Sean Strickland lost his title gold in a maiden defense this January. Strickland has no more fight bookings as of yet. In light of his recent sparring footage at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, that UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin, uploaded, Jake Paul offered to spar with him.

Check out what he had to say on the matter:

Paul is gearing up for another pro-boxing outing against Ryan Bourland next month. This PPV-shaming comes in light of his 9th pro-boxing outing against 10-1-1 seasoned boxer Andre August not being on PPV. Moreover, Dana White declared that influencer and crossover boxing sells no fights.

Paul had offered up a $1 million charity sparring match with Strickland on live stream. Strickland did later offer him a spar, without stipulated pay. While Paul has yet to answer back, he confirmed being ready, changing his social media background image to a snap of Strickland getting knocked down. Only time will tell if such a match ever takes place.
