Tyson Pedro STUNS Harry Hunsucker and gets the job done in the very first round of UFC 278 PPV
Tyson Pedro and Harry Hunsucker
UFC 278 pay-per-view opened with a wonderful light heavyweight fight between Tyson Pedro and Harry Hunsucker. One of 2022’s biggest pay-per-view events is here and the card could not get better.
Tyson Pedro and Harry Hunsucker had huge weight to carry as they set the tone for the amazing card at UFC 278. This fight took place at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The card is headlined by the electrifying welterweight title fight between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards. The light heavyweight bout in the main card is very interesting as we got to see Tyson (8-3) face an interesting challenge in Hunsucker (7-5).
Earlier this year, we got to see Tyson return to the octagon after four long years and the fans are lucky to see the fighter again in 2022. Harry, on the other hand, is a great fighter who has not had the best of starts to his UFC career. A short-notice fight against Tai Tuivasa and another Aussie matchup against Justin Tafa saw Harry holding two knockout defeats in a row. Harry tested his hand in the light heavyweight division for the first time.

Harry Hunsucker faces defeat to Tyson Pedro at UFC 278
Round 1: Harry immediately put pressure on his opponent and draws first blood with a nice left hand. Harry has never gone past the first round in his pro career. Pedro moves forwards and lands a stiff jab that stung his opponent. The Sydney native follows up with a stunning body kick and Hunsucker holds his stomach and went down to the ground immediately. Before Pedro could pour down punches on his opponent, the referee was there to make sure the fight was stopped.
This is not looking good for Harry Hunsucker as he faced three straight defeats since his introduction to the UFC. Tyson, on the other hand, gets another victory since his return and is now on a two-fight winning streak.
