A lightweight banger between Nasrat Haqparast and Bobby Green has been booked for UFC 271
Nasrat Haqparast vs Bobby Green
Nasrat Haqparast will go against Bobby Green next month at the Pay-per-view event UFC 271 which will take place in Houston. As of now, there have been no official announcements regarding the fight but reportedly both the athletes have already agreed to it.
Earlier Haqparast was going to fight John Makdessi on Feb 19 but after suffering an injury, Makdessi had to pull out from the fight. Now Bobby Green has stepped in to fight Haqparast at UFC 271.
Green(28-12) will come into the fight after an impressive TKO win against Al Iaquinta at UFC 268. This victory halted his two-fight losing streak and opened up opportunities to fight upper-ranked players. A win against Haqparast will only help Green to go above in the lightweight rankings and eventually get into the top 10.
On the other hand, Haqparast (13-4) lost his fight against Dan Hooker at UFC 266. The German took the fight in a very short time only to be able to make weight and get into the ring. Before that fight, Haqparast had two consecutive wins both via decision. Haqparast joined UFC in 2017 and has faced Hooker as a big name in the UFC.
