UFC flyweight Manel Kape came out successful against his opponent Felip dos Santos at UFC 293. But the talking point was not his performance, but his post-fight interview. In the process of calling out rival flyweight Kai Kara France, Kape had a shocking choice of words to use on live television.
The flyweight fighter did not hesitate one bit to drop the ‘F-word’ which is known to be homophobic. Manel Kape and Kai Kara-France were initially booked to fight. Kape was still not over the Kiwi fighter backing out.
"Kai Kara, motherf*****er you are here. you show up. You piece of sh*t. I'm gonna fight you next. If you refuse again to fight me, I'm gonna pull out to your academy and I'm gonna spar you there. And no one is gonna do anything, and you know why? All your teammates are a bunch of f**gots."Manel Kape via UFC 293 octagon interview
The Internet went haywire after listening to the last statement. Further, before this incident, another fighter on the card, Charles Radtke said some controversial things in his post-fight interview. With his unhinged rant, Kape followed Radtke to cause trouble for UFC’s brand.
