Last weekend, UFC on ESPN 50 took place with the main event bout between Cory Sandhagen and Rob Font. The event took place inside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and the whole deck was stacked.
In the preliminary card, Jake Hadley and Cody Durden fought in a flyweight contest, and Durden took the win via unanimous decision. It was a disappointing night for Hadley, who in a recent tweet mentioned what she went through during the fight week.
He said: “Lost the fight few things went wrong before the fight I almost died during the weight cut I actually saw god for a second. couldn’t rehydrate like normal felt like that had a major effect on my performance because I couldn’t push like normal anyone who knows me knows I never gas.” on Twitter.
Hadley disclosed some serious matters, including how, during the weight cut he almost died. According to that fighter, after that, he couldn’t hydrate properly which affected his performance in the fight.
Dana White received a lot of criticism for leaving UFC on ESPN 50 main event early
After Dana White was spotted exiting the venue during Cory Sandhagen and Rob Font’s main event fight at UFC Nashville, MMA fans started to react in a negative way
Due to Font’s last-minute substitution for Umar Nurmagomedov, the bout continued at a catchweight of 140 pounds. Despite the last-minute change in adversaries, Sandhagen rose to the occasion and immediately neutralized any threat from Font.
Despite Cory Sandhagen’s decisive victory, there was little back-and-forth action in the bout, which many people feel is why Dana White left the arena early. White is well known for criticizing fighters openly if they fight in a boring fashion and many suspect that it was another case like that.
