White gifted a massive sum to Kyle of NELK fame
Dana White is a big fan of the Nelk Boys and has done a few podcasts with them. Similarly, the Nelk Boys have done a lot to promote UFC through their content such as podcasts and videos. Recently, one of the members, Kyle Forgeard, had his 28th birthday and got an amazing gift from White.
White gave Forgeard a whopping $ 250k cash as a gift. The Youtuber was shocked and happy at the same time and posted the clip on his Instagram account. This incident attracted a lot of criticism as currently UFC and White are under the heat of not paying fighters good money. Many fans didn’t like the fact that White is spending so much money on a gift but isn’t paying fighters their deserved money.

While more questions were asked about White’s $ 250k gift to Kyle Forgeard, the UFC president decided to address it in the most direct manner. In a recent interview with ” The Pat McAfee Show”, White finally went off on a rant on all the criticism he’s been facing.
White initially seemed annoyed by the people who were asking this question and explained that the money he gifted Forgeard was his own and he can spend it wherever he wants. Later White elaborated that the Nelk boys have grown so much but they haven’t asked White for anything this whole time. White shed light on how good the Nelk boys are and how Forgeard has done so many things for him in the past. In the end, White mentioned that the amount of things Forgeard has done and helped White with deserves more than just $250k.
Dana said, “First of all, all these people on the internet, go f**k yourselves. Ok. I spend my money, however, the f*ck I want to spend my money. Mind your own f*cking business. No. 2, if you look at what Kyle and the Nelk Boys have done as far as how they’re handling and a lot of other things that they’ve done, those kids have never asked me for anything, ever. They’ve never asked me for anything, and they couldn’t be better people. Kyle has done so many things for me. Believe me, the $250,000 that I gave him for his birthday, it does not cover the amount of things that kid has done for me.”
There is a difference between UFC money and White’s own money and in between all these criticisms, many fans are also taking that into consideration. White doesn’t take money from UFC assets to pay for his personal gifts. It’s the money that he earned in his long career as the UFC president.
