UFC veteran claims ‘better boxer’ Nate Diaz will expose Jake Paul in their boxing showdown
UFC veteran Bobby Green expects Nate Diaz to defeat Jake Paul in his upcoming boxing debut. Green says that boxing skills of Nate Diaz are on a different level.

Nate Diaz and Jake Paul will collide in August for a boxing bout. The bout will be the first time Diaz steps into the boxing ring. Fight fans and analysts have started to give their predictions on the fight. Some believe Diaz is too small and old to compete against a young star like Jake Paul. However, Diaz’s friend and training partner Bobby Green does not think that way. He thinks that Nate Diaz is better and he will win.
In an interview, Bobby Green said, “I was just training with Nate a couple of weeks ago. We were getting it in, and I think he’s going to have the perfect style to expose Jake. A lot of people sleep on his boxing but his boxing’s really good. It’s actually a better boxing than a MMA fighter. Don’t get me wrong, his Jits (BJJ) is sick, but his boxing is probably number 1, and people don’t realise that. That issue with MMA, the gloves are smaller, and so when you do certain techniques in boxing, they don’t exactly translate to MMA as well.”
Bobby Green is a veteran fighter and has competed in 44 fights across his MMA career. Green and Diaz have been friends for years and always praised each other numerous times. Hence, it is not surprising to see Green believing that Diaz will get the job done against Paul. Even though Diaz is highly skilled in Jiu-Jitsu, Green believes his boxing is superior and will pay dividends in their upcoming boxing bout.
Jake Paul is coming off a loss against Tommy Fury, where he got outworked the entire time. However, he managed to get a knockdown and show that he has incredible power. Fight fans will look forward to seeing if Diaz can withstand the power and claim the victory like Green suggested.
Sean Strickland rips Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz matchmaking
Dana White recently did not appreciate the question about the boxing bout between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. Another UFC fighter also shares the same sentiment. Loudmouth Sean Strickland does not like matchmaking at all and took to Twitter to express his thoughts.
He wrote, “Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz such a fucking joke. I’m not hating on either for making money of this clown show I’m hating on the fact a RETIRED 155er is fighting a juiced tiktoker at 185 who lost to a recreational boxer Tommy Furry. STOP WATCHING THIS BS!! IT NEEDS TO DIE…“
It appears that Strickland will not buy the PPV for Paul vs Diaz’s boxing bout. The bout will also be the first time the former UFC fighter enters the boxing ring. Fight fans eagerly await the fight to see if Nate Diaz can defeat Jake Paul so they can troll Paul again.
