“Let’s make a big fight with ‘Tank’ or something,” says Holloway to Ariel Helwani. “Tank is following Floyd Mayweather’s recipe. So why not he fight an MMA guy, we do a big one. I can shit talk to him,” says Max referring to the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor bout in 2017. “Just don’t put no hydration clause in it like how he did to my man Garcia. [Ryan Garcia]” This was in reference to the hydration clause imposed on ‘KingRy’ ahead of his fight against Gervonta.
“The hydration clause is real,” said Max Holloway. “I would love to do a big one, maybe do MGM like how they did with Conor [Conor McGregor]” concludes Max Holloway hinting at a Gervonta Davis vs Max Holloway bout.
