“I’ll die in a shootout before I starve” UFC’s Bryce Mitchell spouts ridiculous theory about Uvalde Shooting, compares gun control to The Holocaust

Bryce Mitchell may be a role model to some, but that should probably last only until the cage doors remain closed. Outside the cage, Mitchell has been known to truly believe and live by the wildest conspiracy theories and may not be the smartest person in most circles. The versatile young prospect from Kansas has been known to be a gun nut and like every single one of his kind, they would go to any extent to deflect the blame of the tragedy from the very thing that caused it.

While Mitchell has made such controversial remarks in the past, including during an appearance on the MMA Hour where he told Ariel Helwani that he believed people who died in a Las Vegas Mass Shooting in February were paid actors, many have dismissed this to be just his upbringing and the people he surrounds himself with. Fans even joked alluding to the fact that you can’t find profound statements from someone who power drills their own testicles (true story)

While Bryce Mitchell has shown to be a reliable performer in the cage, even beating veteran Edson Barboza in his last outing, his behavior outside has been nothing short of a liability. While the UFC is pretty loose with what their fighters politically express, Mitchell’s statements of accusing dead children to be paid actors borders on defamatory and can cost the company down the line.

In light of the recent shooting at Uvalde Texas, in the Robb Elementary School, Mitchell made an appearance on the Schaub Show with Brendan Schaub where he talked about his thoughts as a gun owner in light on increasing calls for gun control. Mitchell initially suggested that the government was involved in manufacturing the incident and were the reason Texas cops refused to enter the building while the shooter was still on his spree.

“I would die before I handover that gun” said Mitchell claiming he would rather die in a shootout than starve to death “Cause as soon as they take your guns they’re gonna starve you to death like they did to the Jews” Bryce then went on to tell Schaub about the time he schooled Ariel ( A Jewish Man) about the circumstance that led to the holocaust, a major part of which according to him was taking away gun rights from the Jews.

Mitchell then went on to ask everyone from Pilots to teachers to be armed with a 22 Calibre pistol and be trained to deal with live shooter situations. What do you think about Mitchell’s comments and his solution to the gun problem in America.
