“Striking 2, health 3,” Veteran fighter triggered as Raul Rosas Jr. gets 4 star rating in UFC game

UFC middleweight Sean Strickland hopped on Twitter to criticize UFC 4 ratings of young prodigy Raul Rosas Jr. UFC 4 is a video game published by EA Sports that integrates real-life UFC fighters in the game. Players can unlock and play different characters accordingly.

The game consists of over 336 fighters and the recent update includes Sean Strickland. Sean currently competes in the middleweight division of the UFC and as of July 4, 2022, he is #7 in the UFC middleweight rankings.

Strickland took to Twitter to criticize the ratings Raul Rosas Jr. was given in the game. He said,EA fire whoever gives these ratings lol…”.Strickland shares a picture of Rosas’s stats in the game and quotes “Grappling 2.5 stars, striking 2, health 3”. Sean Strickland went on to point out some of the mistakes Raul made including his lack of cardio that cost him the fight at UFC 287.

Some of the comments pointed out Strickland’s own loss against Alex Pereira last year in UFC 276. Sean Strickland had been criticized for his performance in the fight. A comment shared a picture of Sean going down as Alex Pereira connects across Strickland’s face to which Sean responds, ” He got lucky”.

Christian Rodriguez and Raul Rosas Jr. went head-to-head in a main card PPV bout in UFC 287. Raul Rosas Jr. debuted as the youngest UFC fighter to be integrated into the organization. The young prospect had a nice undefeated streak going on in the UFC but Christian Rodriguez intervened.

Raul went in strong into the first round and put good pressure on Christian Rodriguez. He even managed to get hold of a rear naked choke but Rodriguez escaped. However, Raul Rosas Jr. couldn’t do the same in the second round, something which Sean Strickland pointed out and criticized. He lacked the cardio and seemed to run out of steam for the rest of the fight.

Raul attempted a handful of takedowns but Rodriguez showed excellent take-down defense and overall entertaining performance. Christian Rodriguez complemented Raul Rosas Jr.’s strength and toughness but attributed his win to his experience and coach. Rodriguez is 25 years old while Rosas is only 18. The hype around the young prospect still remains even though many took to Twitter to criticize the fight. “Child abuse” one user wrote. Strickland also commented on the fight.
