Alexander Volkanovski vs Chan Sung Jung
Alexander Volkanovski recently fought Zombie and put forward his best performance in terms of efficiency. The fight was originally scheduled to take place between Max Holloway and Volkanovski but due to an injury, Holloway had to withdraw. Sung Jung took the opportunity but failed to make a mark as he lost the bout via TKO. Volkanovski was clinical and finished the fight without taking much damage himself.
Volkanovski has now defended his featherweight title three times in a row since capturing it against Holloway in 2019. Volkanovski is also the #2 fighter in the UFC pound-for-pound rankings. Fight fans are now interested to see him move up a division and fight other division fighters.

Volkanovski recently shared a clip on his official YouTube channel for fans and subscribers. In the clip, the Aussie can be seen working on a set-up to trip Chan-sung in the fight.
In the video, it seemed like Volkanovski was practising the move again and again to perfect the efficiency and timing of the move. Surprisingly enough, Volkanovski actually tried the move during the fight at UFC 273 and managed to successfully trip the zombie. The move was extremely effective and smooth and was executed nicely.
It’s easy to come up with a move and practice it but to actually try and be successful with it needs a great amount of awareness and confidence. Volkanovski is currently in a league of its own and it is the result of the hard work he puts into his training.
In the fight against Zombie, Volkanovski looked unstoppable and there were no holes in his game. At that time he was in a different zone and had an optimum focus on his opponent. The fighter has defeated all the top fighters in the division and is looking for new opportunities, but before that he might have to face Max Holloway again to end the rivalry once and for all. The fight is not yet scheduled but fight fans are excited to see them both inside the octagon competing against each other.
