UFC Welterweight Kevin Holland is down to deliver fans with another banger of a fight as he will aim for a finish over the very tough Tim Means this weekend at UFC Fight Night Austin, Texas. Holland snapped his 3-fight skid with his last fight when he secured a second-round knockout victory over former UFC welterweight Alex Oliveira at UFC 272. Holland’s rise to fame came from his 5 fight-winning streak within a span of 1 year and that too in 2020 when the Covid pandemic took the world by storm.
UFC on ESPN 37, or UFC Fight Night Austin, Texas is headlined by featherweights Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett as both the fighters are coming off huge wins and are now looking forward to securing the closest position to a title shot. The co-main event involves a fight between longtime veterans, Joe Lauzon and Donald Cerrone, the loser of which might most probably be released out of the UFC. Another fight features bantamweight prospect Adrian Yanez taking on fellow prospect Tony Kelley.

Giga Chikadze educates Kevin Holland about the angles to deliver the infamous “Giga Kick”
UFC featherweight Giga Chikadze was seen backstage of the UFC on ESPN 37’s weigh-in day. Chikadze is a former GLORY kickboxer who was born in a family of grapplers only to stand out as a striker. Regardless, Chikadze stood successful during his GLORY days and even now in the UFC, with a little setback to his rise in his last fight as he lost a unanimous decision to the aforementioned Calvin Kattar. Chikadze greeted Kattar and wished him good luck in his fight against Emmett.
But what was more interesting to see is Kevin Holland’s eagerness to learn from all the specialists of MMA from everywhere. So, just like he tried to learn from Daniel Cormier and Khabib Nurmagomedov the nuances of a successful grappling strategy in an MMA fight, Holland tried to expand his already outstanding capacity to strike by learning Chikadze’s signature body kick, known popularly as the Giga Kick. The Giga Kick is a powerful body kick aimed at the liver to shut down the opponent’s tolerance for taking any more strikes.
