Conor McGregor is distinguishable as one of the greatest MMA practitioners of modern times. The 22-6 Striker rightfully carries the moniker of being “The Notorious.” McGregor holds stature as a two-division champion in the UFC, despite his prolonged absence presently. He last fought Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. Recently, the fighter expressed much angst on having to spend 29 months on the shelf.
CEO Dana White had relevantly urged his return and passage through the USADA testing pool, time and again. But nothing has taken shape yet. An old footage has, however, surfaced that shows the fighter headshot a mannequin. The footage, first uploaded by ESPN shows McGregor performing a spin-kick during a promotional open workout. A reaction read – “Literally out of the park.”
And the resonated sentiment was true to form. The head-kick technique has been a highlight move of the Irishman for a long while. The fighter did however incur a broken fibula against Poirier, back in 2021. Check out the whole footage below.
After titanium insertion and substantial recovery, the fighter is confident in his ‘crisp, tight’ pad work with a modified shinbone. Feats like the above kick are a testament to his value. Only time will tell if the Southpaw gets to use his kick to utility again.

Ronaldo posted a snap of the duo together, with the prompting text “Best Caption wins.” A fan consequently wrote (on X) – “Cristiano Ronaldo was annoyed by Conor McGregor – Yeah right!” Both superstars have been a prime part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s effort to promote combative sporting events. As such, they both maintain an amicable rapport.
