Israel Adesanya will enter the octagon once again this year at UFC 276 against title challenger Jared Cannonier. UFC 276 is just around the corner and the event is one of the biggest events for the UFC this year. UFC 276 will headline the annual International fight week and will feature top MMA fighters like Max Holloway, Sean O’Malley and Sean Strickland. International fight week is celebrated to honor the fighters who have contributed to the success of the UFC and events like the UFC Hall of Fame and UFC X will take place during the week.
Israel recently shared the 1st episode of the UFC 276 fight week on his YouTube channel and the champ gave a sneak peek into his lifestyle, leading up to the fight on Saturday. Israel Adesanya was seen hanging out with the heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou at UFC Performance Institute, and both fighters spend some time together before he started training with UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
Israel and Ngannou have a special friendship in the UFC. Both are among the top fighters in the promotion and are also among the 3 champions from Africa, including UFC welterweight fighter Kamaru Usman. Israel and Francis met each other happily and greeted each other in a very fun and casual way. Israel, on seeing Ngannou, shouted: “what’s up my ni**a” and asked him about his journey to Cameroon. Both fighters enjoy each other’s company and love to spend time together.

On March 27th 2021, Francis Ngannou knocked out the UFC heavyweight fighter Stipe Miocic to become the third African born fighter in the promotion. He joined the welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and middleweight champion Israel Adesanya as the third African born UFC champion. The trio is promoted and referred as “3 Kings” by the UFC and the promotion is trying to hold an event on the continent with all 3 champions on the card.
All three fighters are among the best UFC fighters in the UFC history and have achieved great things inside the octagon. Ngannou belongs to Cameron while Israel and Kamaru belong to Nigeria. Each fighter represents their country inside the octagon and is proud to belong to the African continent.
