‘The Hunter is now Hunted’, Israel Adesanya finally gets his much-awaited revenge against arch-rival Alex Pereira. The much-anticipated middleweight title rematch between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya took place this Saturday at UFC 287 in Miami, Florida.

It was the first time in years Adesanya walked into the octagon waiting for the champion, Pereira to come into the fight. Adesanya had a lot of pressure on him given that in the last fight, he did everything to win but ultimately failed to that devastating left hook of ‘Potan’.

However, tonight was different for Adesanya and in the second round, he landed two amazing right hooks followed up by a hammer fist that ended Pereira’s short reign as the UFC middleweight champion. Right after the knockout, Adesanya did the popular arrow celebration while the Brazilian was on the ground. It was a brutal response to Pereira as the fighter has his trademark move of shooting arrows before coming into his fights. It was absolutely amazing and a perfect retribution for one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time.

However, Adesanya came back with two amazing right hooks that put Pereira out cold and secured Izzy his middleweight title.
