Masvidal, a veteran of more than 50 professional MMA bouts, has been on a tough ride lately by being on a 3-fight skid, couple of losses agaisnt current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and another setback against bitter rival Colby Covington at UFC 272. With that said, yes, Masvidal definitely needs to get back in the win column in order to stay relevant amongst the top welterweights.

In a recently released set of videos on his Youtube channel with more than 886,000 subscribers, Masvidal shares a couple of his moves on his sparring, head movement and his exceptional striking abilities. In the first video below, Masvidal shows the importance of counter punching on his former opponent Ross Pearson as he wobbles Pearson with a rear left straight punch.
In the second video below, Masvidal gets in one on one sparring session with his longtime striking coach and the man who brought Masvidal out from the low life of a street fighter to professional MMA, Paulino Hernandez. Masvidal is seen outstriking Hernandez with his hands with attempts to throwing some good kicks as well.
In the third and last video below, Masvidal is seen using his head movement to dodge punches from his former opponent and fellow UFC megastar Nate Diaz. Masvidal and Diaz fought each other at UFC 244 in a one of a kind welterweight fight where the winner will be rewarded the “Baddest Motherf**er” aka BMF title. The title belt was wrapped around Masvidal’s waist by Hollywood megastar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
