Watch: Nate Diaz trolls Project Rock sponsored shoes as he calls them “S***”

UFC 279 which was previously failing to get the maximum attention of fight fans is now revived. Khamzat Chimaev failed to make the weight and Diaz is now fighting Tony Ferguson in the main event.

This is the last fight of Diaz’s UFC contract and the fighter is eager to part ways from the promotion. During the build up to this event, Diaz was extremely verbal about the UFC treating him unfairly and was not giving his last fight. The Diaz brothers have been in a constant beef with the UFC regarding some of the policies of the promotion. This is one of the traits that made them popular among the fight fans. Both Nate and Nick were always true and spoke their heart out without any filter.

It seems like before he departs from UFC, Nate still has the same personality and he doesn’t care about anything.

After getting his fight fixed with Tony Ferguson instead of Khamzat Chimaev, Nate Diaz had a conversation with MMA reporter Megan Olivia on ESPN MMA.

During the interview, Diaz opened up about his thoughts on the sudden changes in opponent and that he is still ready to fight anybody. Towards the end of the interview, Diaz dropped a bomb as he directly critsised the ‘Project Rock’ shoes which is a official sponsor of UFC.

“These shoes f** s,” Nate said, showing it to the camera. “Look at these shoes, they made me put this shit on. F*** these shoes!”

The shoes are given to every UFC fighter to wear during the fight weekend as well as their training. Much like Venom, the shoes are a collaboration between UFC and Project Rock.

The Project Rock, is the brand of the popular celebrity, Dwayne Johnson partnered with Under Armour.

Diaz is known for his controversial antics and him fighting his last UFC fights makes him inevitable from these kinds of stunts. However, the fight fans sure like such moments from the OG of the game.
