After the release of his latest Netflix series McGregor Forever, fans got an in-depth view of UFC’s money maker. The series featured many events from Conor McGregor’s life in between fighting several opponents. While McGregor is used to fighting dangerous fighters, he was all fired up to take on a totally different adversary. Conor McGregor was recorded having a heated face-off with an alligator on the show.
Conor McGregor was away from the octagon for quite some time after his loss against Khabib Nurmagomedov. During his time off, McGregor did a lot of reflecting and mandatory community service for causing trouble and attacking Khabib’s bus. While the loss and the time off were hard for McGregor, he bounced back to fight Donald Cerrone. However, before his fight, McGregor enjoyed a small vacation with his family. He and his entire family flew out to the USA to celebrate his Mother’s 60th birthday. During this visit, ‘McGregor ‘The Notorious’ almost got into deep waters with another dangerous opponent.
The Notorious was trying to intimidate an alligator while enjoying alligator hunting in the swamps of Florida. The Irishman spotted one of the alligators approaching his boat amidst their trip. Without wasting any time the former double champion, tried intimidating the gator shirtless. He performed several antics and did not back down against the gator. McGregor made several noises and made himself look big until eventually, the alligator gave up and submerged himself underwater.
McGregor also had a duel with another gator after his swamp hunting. While it is not featured on the show, McGregor has uploaded photos of his interaction with the alligator. After his Gator interaction, McGregor eventually fought Cerrone inside the octagon. He made a successful comeback, after winning in the first round via knockout.
Conor McGregor back in the USADA testing pool for his comeback against Michael Chandler
After nearly 2 years of absence from UFC, Conor Mcgregor, is very close to making a comeback. The former double champion sustained severe injuries during his fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. Due to this McGregor took an indefinite break from fighting to focus on recovery. During the latter parts of his recovery phase, McGregor’s change in Physique sparked speculations.
Conor McGregor was seen jacked and accused of being on steroids. McGregor’s absence from the USADA testing pool after his recovery also raised many eyebrows. However, McGregor is back inside the USADA testing pool again. During his recent interview, Conor McGregor stated that he will be re-entering the pool. His issue with USADA is handled and will be making a comeback against Michael Chandler.
McGregor will be subjected to six months of testing and will have to provide at least 2 negative samples before he is allowed to compete. Conor has also revealed that his fight with Chandler will be announced during the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. While he won’t be competing anytime soon, fans can expect his comeback against Michael Chandler, later this year.
