Bryce Mitchell is a popular UFC fighter who competes in the featherweight division. The fighter is known for his strikes and durability in the ring. His Southern origins and outspoken personality have attracted a lot of fans. Nicknamed ‘Thug Nasty,’ he amasses a record of 15 wins and two losses in his professional career. He has fought and won over formidable opponents like Edson Barboza and Charles Rosa.
Another thing the fighter is known for is his unhinged conspiracy theory beliefs. Bryce Mitchell can be witnessed sharing propaganda on his social media about different topics like politics and science. Despite receiving a ton of backlash, Mitchell is seemingly not slamming the brakes on his beliefs. The lightweight fighter’s infamous flat earth pseudo-campaign is his well-known crusade. However, the fighter touched on the Robb Elementary School shooting that took place in Texas.
Mitchell believes that the government orchestrates school shootings. He said, “They are letting some of them [School Shootings] happen. And, they’re also like the Las Vegas shooting. I believe that was a government collusion. The Las Vegas shooting was too suspicious. Too many things didn’t line up.”
He then proceeded, “The police officers sit outside for about an hour. And they’re saying we don’t know if we want to enter because of this. We don’t have enough armor. Those kids don’t have any armor. Those kids are unarmed, and they’re kids,” told Mitchell to Brendan Schaub on his podcast.
Bryce Mitchell blames the brutal school shootings on the American government. Since it is a sensitive topic, the fighter received a lot of backlash on his social media. However, ‘Thug Nasty’ is seemingly unbothered by the hate train. Bryce can also be seen promoting flat earth theories and Covid-19.
Bryce Mitchell reveals the Covid-19 mask mandate made him sick
Lightweight fighter Bryce Mitchell was set to take on Andre Fili in a lightweight event fight at UFC Vegas 12. ‘Thug Nasty’ emerged victorious via a unanimous decision victory. This was a huge step for the fighter in terms of his popularity in the roster.
In the post-fight press conference, Bryce was asked about his thoughts on his career so far and his next step. The fighter seemed joyous in answering the questions. However, Mitchell took the stage to confess something that he had suppressed in his mind. He said, “Can I stay stuff right now? Does it go anywhere?” This is the only time that I have a platform to say something,” alluded Bryce Mitchell.
“I was driving by an elementary school the other day and I seen all these kids outside they’re tryna play and they all got masks on. And I see them out there, some of them take their masks off so they can breathe fresh air. Then, you got a teacher walking around pointing at them saying put your mask on. And that, makes me sick,” said Bryce Mitchell.
“These kids can’t get fresh air in their eight hours a day, they’re sitting six feet apart from each other. I don’t agree with that,” said Bryce Mitchell. The lightweight fighter can always be seen talking about politics despite the backlash he receives.
