“My god she’s so beautiful,” When Georges St-Pierre got mesmerized by Cindy Crawford’s beauty mid fight against BJ Penn

Georges St-Pierre was one of the most famous and respected fighters in the octagon during his time in the UFC. He defended his title 9 times in the welterweight division before taking a brief 4-year hiatus. St- Pierre later returned to win the middleweight title against Michael Bisping and walked away from the sport for good. His rise in the sport saw GSP gaining many fans, but only once was St-Pierre left star-struck himself.

GSP in his recent interview on the Full Send podcast talked about his fighting days and how he did not even like fighting. The conversation also included him almost coming back from retirement to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov and being caught off guard by Cindy Crawford. Georges St-Pierre narrated a funny story of when he was left mesmerized by model and actress Cindy Crawford’s beauty.

During his fight with BJ Penn, GSP revealed of watching Cindy Crawford in attendance on his locker room TV. St-Pierre, who is usually very level-headed, became nervous at the sight of Crawford. “Oh my gosh, she’s so beautiful, and still today she’s like an amazing woman. I saw she was in the crowd, I was like oh my god, she’s gonna be watching me perform and I was nervous,” said GSP. He also revealed how easily he was distracted by seeing Crawford amidst his fight with Penn.

Cindy Crawford herself is a huge fan of MMA and was seen cage side for many UFC events. Georges St-Pierre and BJ Penn fought twice inside the octagon. GSP did not reveal during which bout against BJ Penn was he distracted by Crawford. However, he clearly wasn’t thrown off his game as he went on to win both of his fights with Penn.

After making a huge name for himself inside the octagon, GSP branched out to make it big in Hollywood. The former welterweight and middleweight champion has been seen in many movies alongside some huge names. He also played a small part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe twice. St- Pierre appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier for his first appearance in Marvel Cinematic Universe, also known as MCU.

Chris Evans, who plays Captain America himself, had huge praise for Georges St-Pierre. GSP, who plays the character named Batroc in the movie, went head to head with Captain America at the very start of the movie. The scene included a well-choreographed fight sequence between Batroc and Captain America. According to Evans, St-Pierre was able to execute stunts with great comfort. ” We had fantastic stuntmen, anything they threw at him, not only is he able to do it but he is also able to elaborate on it,” said Chris Evans.

Georges St-Pierre later reprised his role as Batroc in the Disney Plus series, Falcon and Winter Soldier. GSP was also able to leave many actors starstruck by his presence. He also almost knocked out movie star Anthony Mackie while filming a stunt sequence.
