Watch: When Henry Cejudo played drinking games with Daniel Cormier, Aljamain Sterling and Al Iaquinta
Henry Cejudo has expressed his willingness to regain his bantamweight title from Aljamain Sterling
Henry Cejudo has been living his life to the fullest ever since he vacated his bantamweight title at UFC 249 after an early 2nd round TKO victory over Dominick Cruz. Cejudo expressed his intentions to start a family as he had dedicated his entire life to combat ever since he started wrestling as a kid. Along with settling down in life, Cejudo has multiple shows where he talks about combats sports, most notably co-hosting Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.
Recently while being featured on The DC Check-in, Cejudo invited the latest inductee to the Hall of Fame, Daniel Cormier along with the man who currently holds the Belt Cejudo vacated, Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling. While the check-in with DC was about Cejudo’s anticipated return to action and his wishes to face Aljamian Sterling for the title, they had a little fun of their own with drinking games!
In a video released by The Triple C and Schmo Show, hosted by Cejudo alongside MMA personality the Schmo, the Olympic gold medalist can be seen playing a game called “Hooks” with his Olympic team captain and two-division UFC champion, Daniel Cormier.
Henry Cejudo destroys Daniel Cormier in a game of “Hooks”
The game consists of a single T-shaped stand with rings attached to a small thread on each end. The other accessory to the game is a shot of tequila placed on a tray with 5 columns with the shot being placed at the center. The goal is to release and land the rings on the hooks attached to the stand, with each proper throw the Tequila shot shifts one place towards your opponent.
As the game started Triple C easily dominated Cormier to win the game 3-0, forcing DC to take a shot of alcohol. Seems like perfection is the only way of life for Cejudo
Aljamian Sterling and Al Iaquinta can be seen laughing in the background as DC gulps down the shot, they then went forward with their conversation detailing with everything from Jon Jones’ training sessions to why he thinks Aljamain Sterling is a flawed fighter.
After the clip cuts out, Cejudo explains the game to Schmo and his ambition to release it to the public with him being a part-owner.
