The UFC has grown exponentially to become the biggest MMA organization in the world that it is today. With that, comes the ever-growing list of celebrities that come to watch the events in person.

In every UFC event, the camera director usually pans around to the audience multiple times and catches glimpses of the biggest celebrities on offer. At UFC 264, by far, the largest celebrity that the camera caught was Donald Trump. However, this was not the first time that he was attending a UFC event.

The then President of the United States also walked into a packed MSG in New York City, to raucous cheer from the crowd, to watch the UFC 244: Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal main event. Before the event, when TMZ caught up with Israel Adesanya outside of a nightclub, he could not hide his excitement to have such a luminary enjoying his sport.

When TMZ interviewed the Nigerian-Kiwi in 2019, in anticipation for the main event of UFC 244, Adesanya had just become the unified middleweight champion of the world. The win came in scintillating fashion as well – he sparked Robert Whittaker and sent him flying to canvas not once, but twice. The first time, the bell had saved Whittaker. The second time around, however, nothing could save the match from being called.

Three years later, Israel Adesanya fights at MSG, in yet another main event. In the last three years, Adesanya has propelled himself to become one of the biggest and most recognizable names in the sport; all while being the best middleweight on the planet. Since the Whittaker win, the middleweight champion is 5-1 (the only loss coming to Jan Blachowicz at light heavyweight).

However, that doesn’t signify that all is well for Adesanya. Despite never losing an MMA fight in the light heavyweight division, “The Last Stylebender” competed in kickboxing previously, and therein, got insanely knocked out cold by Alex Pereira. Interestingly, Alex Pereira also beat him once before by decision.

Now that Alex Pereira has arrived at the UFC, and knocked out the likes of Sean Strickland, it only makes sense that Israel Adesanya try and avenge his defeats. And the middleweight champion has come in with every intention to do just that. The pair have already had their final face–offs, could Israel Adesanya finally wrestle his demons and take care of Alex Pereira at UFC 281? One more night’s sleep, and we shall find out!
