Zhang Weili is one of the top MMA fighters in the UFC and is also the former UFC Strawweight champion. Zhang Weili’s UFC Career
Zhang has a professional record of 21 wins and 3 losses and she has established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the UFC universe. Weili started her professional career in 2013 and made her UFC debut in 2018 at UFC 227 against Danielle Taylor. Zhang won the fight via a unanimous decision.
Weili fought for the UFC Strawweight title against Jéssica Andrade at UFC Fight Night 157. She won the fight via the first round TKO and she also won the performance of the night bonus. The Chinese athlete successfully defended her title in her first title defense against Joanna Jędrzejczyk at UFC 248 and won the fight via a split decision. The champ, however, lost to Rose Namajunas in her second title defense when Rose landed a head kick in the first round.
The star won the title back against Carla Esparza at UFC 281 and defended it one more time against Amanda Lemos at UFC 292.
