Amidst the Spotify controversy over Joe Rogan’s podcast, the UFC commentator reveals he has no beef with Neil Young.

Joe Rogan has recently faced some criticism after he was accused of spreading misinformation about COVID 19 on his Spotify podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. One of the big names who were not happy with Rogan was the Rock music legend, Neil Young. The Canadian music writer called out Spotify for spreading lies about COVID 19. Most of the controversy is related to the recent episodes of JRE which featured the cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough and Immunologist Dr. Robert Malone.  

Young along with other artists like Jon Mitchell pulled out their playlist from Spotify to show their protest with the streaming platform.

Neil then asked Spotify to choose between him and Joe Rogan’s podcast, and Spotify chose JRE over him. Which might have annoyed the singer more.

As the controversy is starting to get the attention of people, Joe Rogan recently put out a post on his Instagram account. In the video, Rogan revealed that he has no bitterness towards Young as he is a huge admirer. “I’m not mad at Neil Young, I’m a huge Neil Young fan, I have always been a Neil Young fan,” said Rogan.

Rogan also shared one of the stories of his young days working as security at Greatwood amphitheater in Massachusetts during Neil Young’s concert. Rogan explained that once at Young’s performance there was a fire breakout and a brawl started and he was told to stop it.

“They started bonfires so they these raging fires on the lawn and we were supposed to put these fires out and stop them. So we tried for a little while but then the brawl started breaking out and it started going crazy.  I was like f*** this. I So put my hoodie on, I zipped it and I left. That was my last day at the job, I don’t even think I collected my last check. So no hard feelings towards Neil Young,” said Rogan.
