Dana White gets called a “Little B*tch” by Oscar De La Hoya for not allowing Georges St Pierre to fight
Dana White and Oscar De La Hoya
UFC President Dana White and Oscar De La Hoya are back at it again. The old feud has been revived and this time it is because of legendary UFC fighter Georges St Pierre.
In recent times, it has been somewhat a trend for MMA fighters to cross paths and enter the boxing ring to try out a new form of combat sport. This time it was GSP, the former two-division champ in UFC, who is now looking to get into the sport of boxing. But boss man White is not co-signing this decision. One might ask why Dana has a call in this but unfortunately for the Canadian fighter, he still has fights left in his UFC contract and White won’t allow him to fight for another organization.
St Pierre has plans of fighting another veteran of the sport, Oscar De La Hoya who also happens to be the same age as GSP. That would be a ‘dream come true’ match-up for the Canadian. Dana is firm that he would not allow GSP to fight against Oscar until he is under UFC’s contract. Oscar and Dana have had feuds in the past and clearly don’t like each other. De La Hoya is looking to turn this “lemon into lemonade” and use this chance to trash UFC’s President.
Oscar De La Hoya demands that Dana White let GSP fight
Oscar went on Twitter to snap at Dana calling him a little b*tch. “Quit blocking Georges St Pierre’s chance to fight. How about we get into the ring first little b*tch then after I kick your ass, I’ll fight a real man,” he wrote on his Twitter. Georges St Pierre took the high road and said that he understands why Dana did not allow him to fight his dream boxing match.
White on the other hand has claimed that GSP was offered to fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov for a super fight but he did not turn up. Before the Russian retired Dana claims that he wanted a super fight between GSP and the Dagestani but that didn’t go down. Had that gone down there is a high chance that we could’ve seen the GSP vs Oscar boxing fight.
