While most of the fighters talk about going crazy if they were offered big money by the promotion, Paddy Pimblett has some very philanthropic motives for when he becomes a millionaire in the sport of MMA. Ahead of UFC London, Paddy was a huge draw for the fans. There is no doubt that most of the fans at the O2 Arena were there to watch the phenom that is Paddy The Baddy. The Liverpool fighter had the entire crowd chanting his name during his walkout and also after his win. For someone that is only 2-0 in the biggest MMA organization, it is certainly tough to not get ahead of oneself.

Paddy has been getting a lot of comparisons with McGregor and was also called the “Fifth Beatle” by the UFC during promotions for UFC London. The Scouser gives us an insight into what keeps him grounded. “I’m from Liverpool lad,” said Pimblett in the press conference.

“We don’t get ahead of ourselves. My city keeps me grounded. I do hope I end up getting paid as much as Conor McGregor, lad. Then no child in my city will ever eat from a food bank, ever again. I am going to give my city.” Paddy says he is also working on opening a charity after his win at UFC London.
