“Everyone loves talking about the bad man”- Paddy Pimblett responds to Logan Paul’s call for a scrap

Paddy Pimblett on Logan Paul

Pimblett made his UFC debut in 2021 against Luigi Vendramini at UFC Fight Night 191. Straight from the get-go, the fighter managed to gain the attention of many fans. Overnight, he became one of the biggest draws in UFC and he proved it again in his recent fight against Rodrigo Vargas at UFC Liverpool.

Amidst all this, Youtuber Logan Paul recently appeared on The MMA Hourshow hosted by Ariel Helwani. During the conversation, Paul admitted that if he ever gets a UFC bout he would like to take on ‘ The Baddy’.

If I were to do a UFC fight, it needs to be with someone who can sell the tickets. Paddy can sell…he is relatively new, he is young, he is interesting. I just think that the fans will eat that shit up,” said Paul.

Paddy Pimblett has finally shared his opinion regarding the surprising call out made by Paul at ‘The MMA Hour’ show.

The Brit took to Twitter and explained that everybody in the world of combat sports and entertainment likes to talk about him. Paddy referred to himself as the ‘ bad man ‘ whom a lot of people are talking about. In the end, the Scouser praised Paul for that move. “Everyone loves talking about the bad man ?? nice one fella @LoganPaul ??,” wrote Paddy.

If the fight between Paul and Pimblett ever materialized, it will be a unique as well as impressive bout to watch. Both Pimblett and Paul have a humongous fan following and the fight will attract great viewership for the UFC. For the promotion, the fight could turn out to be a great way to earn millions in revenue.

The only logical problem would be the weight differences between both the superstars. Paul walks around at 220 pounds and has gone down to 185 to fight Floyd Mayweather in 2021. On the other hand, Pimblett is a lightweight fighter. Although during the offseason he gets around 200 pounds, it will still be hard for the fighter to fight at 185 which is not his preferred weight class.
