“Dead man walking”- Paulo Costa fires off a warning at Sean Strickland following latest back and forth

Sean Strickland and Paulo Costa have been ping-ponging insults on Twitter for a while now since Sean took a dig at Costa for getting humiliated in the octagon by Israel Adesanya. Paulo decided to throw an insult at the champ, Sean stepped in and obliterated Costa with his words.
Sean is coming off a win against Jack Hermansson in his last bout, started searching for opponents which is when he picked a beef with Paulo Costa on Twitter. Paulo who also was not locked in for a fight immediately agreed and called Strickland a rat. Paulo has since then started posting training videos and calling himself the BLF(Best Looking Fighter).
Sean Strickland then said that he did ask the UFC and they didn’t let him get a fight that would lower his chances of getting a title fight and said that it would be ‘Punching down’, suggested that there was Bellator if he had no other option, especially since the UFC had a problem with Costa’s walk-in weight the last time he fought in 2020.
Sean then enraged Costa by another tweet which said: “In all fairness to Costa I wouldn’t call him gay, it was more of a forceful sexual assault by Style bender [referring to Adesanya], I’m just happy he didn’t decide to penetrate you… Jokes aside man you’re hard to take seriously. Mma to professional clown, definitely a step up for you…” which left Costa speechless and humiliated after he said ‘Wheres the fag’
Paulo then added a new training video of him hitting the pads and captioned it “Strickland is a dead man walking” which was ironical since he looked a little choppy and restrictive in his movement.
Paulo Costa and his loss against Israel Adesanya
Paulo had always been looked up to as he was the only UFC fighter who wantingly took a fight with Yoel Romero and gave him stiff competition. Paulo Costa challenged Israel Adesanya for the middleweight title at UFC 253 in September ’20 after which his following has realized what an elite striker could do to Costa.
To humiliate him some more, Adesanya pretended to emulate a humping gesture as the referee called a halt to the action. This caused a little bit of a commotion as it enraged a lot of homophobic people as well as homosexual people who then had a different argument altogether. Costa then made excuses for losing the fight and was trolled extensively again online.
Izzy after almost a year in 2021 reignited the humiliation and posted a tweet saying that Costa was pregnant which was hilarious nonetheless. Adesanya still remains the undefeated champ in the UFC all set to fight again soon, hopefully.
