Paulo Costa shares hilarious interaction with Dana White on social media jokingly suggests a fight between them

Dana White and Paulo Costa

It all started when Paulo Costa shared a tweet on his official Twitter account making fun of UFC president Dana White. In the Tweet, there was an old pic of White along with current UFC female strawweight champion, Rose Namajunas. In the picture, it was visible that White was holding Namajunas’ from the back and posing for the camera.

Costa captioned the picture by saying “If I post this I would be free from that fuck contract?”. Knowing Costa it might have been one of the regular memes that he shares frequently. But this time it looked a little inappropriate considering Namajunas is all set to defend her title this weekend at UFC 274. As expected, Costa deleted the tweet after some time shared another tweet.

In this tweet, the Brazilian shared a screenshot of a DM made by white on his Instagram account. The message read “Delete that s* you f*** goof”. Almost like White being annoyed with Costa and scolding him.

But it’s hard to tell if that screenshot was real as it’s very common for Costa to use edited pictures in order to entertain his fans and followers. At the same time, it could be true as a fighter he can’t just go around freely making fun of his boss.

Before Costa deleted the White and Rose tweet, fans took the screenshot of it and made their own memes out of it. One user named @DanaExotic took both the tweets and posted a meme of ‘How it started’ and ‘ How it ended’.

The meme was extremely funny and other users really appreciated the effort. Even Borrachinha noticed the tweet and jokingly revealed that he has already booked a fight with White inside the UFC APEX facility on May 9. “I booked a fight me and him , apex may9. Doors closed,” wrote Costa.

Whatever the truth may be, it was certainly entertaining banter for the fans to have fun and make fun of each other. In a world where most fighters just want to insult each other harshly, Costa is surely an exception.
