Jon Jones vs Paulo Costa

Paulo Costa’s tweets are hilariously absurd, to say the least. He leaves his followers in a state of bewilderment. He takes subtle digs at fighters on the roster including the president of the company from time to time.

His antics on Twitter are considered to be quite polarizing, as fans are branched into either finding it entertaining or unpleasant. Either way, he gets a reaction that floats the boat for him as it keeps him relevant in the MMA community when he is not fighting. Recently, the former title challenger took to Twitter to take shots at people, one of them being none other than the former light-heavyweight champion, Jones.

Costa shared a picture in which the fighter mocked Jones. The interpretation of the image is indefinite. He posted this meme and captioned it, “I felt something wet and hot in my shoe.”

However, it is for sure that Costa is trolling Jones. The picture used of him is very infamous. A picture was leaked in which Jones was witnessed to be hiding under the cage at his gym years ago to avoid taking a drug test. Jon himself admitted on Twitter that the story is true, that he did indeed hide from a sample collector who came to his JacksonWink MMA gym.

Since that confirmation, Jon was trolled online for the same as his record of Drug testing has not been the cleanest and is a topic of sporting interest to hold him accountable for it. This is not the first time there was an exchange between these two UFC fighters. Paulo Costa claimed he will fight Jon Jones in 2021 if “Jon is alive until then.”
