“People are not going to remember you”- Henry Cejudo hits out at Kayla Harrison amid talks of Cris Cyborg clash

Henry Cejudo believes Kayla Harrison is a fake champion and will not go down as one of the best. 

Things have not been that great with Cejudo and Harrison lately. It all started, when Cejudo announced that he will be helping out MMA veteran Cris Cyborg. Harrison took a shot at Cejudo and the Bellator champion on Twitter. “He can’t save you. One gold medal Havin a**,” wrote Harrison on her Twitter account. 

It didn’t take, Cejudo much time to respond as he didn’t miss the opportunity to troll Harrison. “If they handed out medals for beating scrubs you’d be Michael Phelps! ? #RealChampsOnly,” Cejudo through his Twitter account.

Henry Cejudo recently appeared on The Underground YouTube channel for an interview. In the interview, triple C discussed UFC events, fighters, etc. 

During the conversation, Cejudo spoke about what she thinks about Kayla’s move to PFL. The former double champ explained that Harrison opted for money rather than legacy. As time will pass fight fans will not remember her name as she has nothing great. 

Cejudo accused Harrison of fighting easy fighters with a bad record in order to accumulate wins and remain undefeated. According to Cejudo, Harrison is delusional for calling herself the world champion.

“Kayla Harrison decided to choose the money over legacy. And that’s it, man. Like, people are not going to remember you. You’re fighting girls that are 5 and 2, 5 and 3. Like, if you consider yourself a world champion, you know, you’re lying to yourself,” 

It’s true that Harrison hasn’t yet faced fighters with the huge caliber and great records. But given her popularity, it will be interesting to see her fight someone who is as impressive as her. 

The fight that actually makes sense is a cross-promotion bout between Harrison and Cyborg. Even Cejudo called out Harrison to fight Cyborg and believed that with his help, Cyborg will easily beat Harrison.
