Vicente Luque and Belal Muhammad rematch set
A stunning welterweight rematch is in the making as Belal Muhammad and Vicente Luque are down to fight each other in April.
This fight might be one of the most decisive fights in the welterweight division. The two fighters are only one or two fights away from the next title shot in a division that is stacked with fighters that crave the belt. Vicente Luque and Belal Muhammad have agreed to fight each other in a five-round fight at UFC Fight Night. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto was the first to report about this fight.
The UFC has confirmed that this fight is set to headline the event on April 16th. The location or venue of the fight has not been announced yet. Both the fighters are in amazing form and are looking to grasp that next title shot as soon as possible. Vicente is at #4 in the welterweight rankings and Muhammad is ranked at #5. The fans are in for a treat with this matchup.

Can Muhammad avenge his loss against Vicente Luque?
The two fighters won’t be meeting each other in the octagon for the first time. The Brazilian and Palestinian have previously shared the octagon at UFC 205 in the year 2016 when the two fighters were starting out. Things didn’t go well for “The Bully” as he got knocked out in the very first round. Luque handed Belal his second loss in the UFC.
In 2022, both the fighters have evolved so much and are completely different animals in the octagon. There can’t be a clear favorite for this fight, which makes the fight very interesting. Belal is on a 6-fight winning streak and has lost since his fight against Geoff Neal. The fighter will be looking to exact his revenge and climb up the rankings getting him closer to the title shot.
Vicente Luque on the other hand is coming off a four-fight winning streak. His last fight against Michael Chiesa was a stunner as he managed to submit Chiesa in the very first round at UFC 265.
