Sean O'Malley- Conor Mcgregor
UFC Bantamweight “Suga” Sean O’Malley has a conpletely unique persona coupld with an unthinkable fighting style, thanks to Conor McGregor‘s indirect mentorship. The fans want nothing but big fights on the way for O’Malley which are to many’s surprsie, a long road ahead.
O’Malley is, however, yet to fight a top opponent and previously called out many names as well. But all “Suga” is fighting is unranked opponents. Even with unranked opponents across the other side of the octagon, people are just so always excited to see O’Malley that he once secured his fight placement right before the co-main event of UFC 260.
UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley responds to interim Bantamweight champion Petr Yan for Conor McGregor
It all started when Conor put out a Tweet, a retweet with a personalised list of best boxers in MMA by a fan in which McGregor was there too. He captioned on the retweet “I outboxed 3 guys on this list! There’s no one even remotely close to my boxing in the ufc. Even Dustin only got shots off post the leg damage. Everyone has been pucked around by me if we are going off boxing. Yan is good tho, i like his style. I’d rip him up in that shell tho.”
Since his name was dropped in McGregor’s tweet, interim UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan responded “Conor, we all know that you like to talk, but let’s get straight to the point if you really want to box or to fight, I don’t care about the weight or the ruleset. I bet you won’t show up @TheNotoriousMMA [McGregor’s official account]”
After this, UFC Bantamweight McGregor’s avid fan and well-wisher, UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley responded to it in a comment on Yan’s tweet in a way of assurance to McGregor. He said, “@TheNotoriousMMA let me take care of these little dudes.”
What do you think on Sean O’Malley’s intervention in Conor McGregor and Petr Yan beef? Was it justified as a strategic move or were you just so excited to see this match that you didn’t like O’Malley coming for his top ranked fights? Also, who do you think will win between O’Malley and his UFC 269 opponent Raulian Paiva?
