“White girl going through a breakup”- Sean Strickland blasts Jon Jones for brutal reaction to Chael Sonnen’s legal issues

Sean Strickland- Jon Jones

UFC Middleweight Sean Strickland leaves no stones unturned on trolling a man if he is not manly enough to handle his situations like a stoic person, not even Jon Jones. Strickland, who’s on a 6-fight winning streak and is on a 5-fight winning streak ever since he moved up from welterweight to middleweight, is one of the most entertaining fighters on Twitter and the most skilful strikers in the 185-lbs division. Strickland has secured dominant decision wins over the likes of Uriah Hall, Jack Hermansson and many more.

Now, Strickland is looking forward to taking on Alex Pereira, an upcoming mixed-martial artist known for his dangerous run as a kickboxer and his knockout win over the current UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya back in the kickboxing days. The bout is most likely to take place at UFC 277. A win over this might put Strickland right into the conversation for the very next title shot after Adesanya and #3 ranked middleweight Jared Cannonier fight each other.

Recently, former UFC Lightheavyweight champion Jon Jones responded to MMA Legend Chael Sonnen being in legal troubles all over again for his physical altercation issues back in December 2021 in Las Vegas. In a revised narrative, Sonnen is now accused of attacking a couple in an intoxicated state while resisting and attacking those as well who were trying to save the couple.

Jones basically wrote on Twitter “It’s interesting how sometimes the people who are praying for your downfall and wishing bad on you end up receiving everything they wished on you.” Jones basically wants everyone to recall the time when Sonnen had a lot to say about Jones getting arrested for domestic violence in September 2021, the same night Jones was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame class of 2021 for his fight against Alexander Gustaffson back in 2013.

In response to Jones’ tweet, Strickland wrote “Jone Jones is starting to sound like a white girl going through a break up on Instagram.. Someone get this man a latte with a foam heart on it asap…” It’s self-explanatory that Strickland is bothered by the way Jones likes to push out every beef on a public platform like Twitter.

What do you make of Strickland’s reaction to Jones tweeting? Do you feel the same way as Strickland or do you think that Strickland crosses the line by picking on everyone with madly written tweets? What do you think is next for both Strickland and Jones in their respective careers ahead, especially after Strickland fights Alex Pereira?
