If there’s ‘Arnold’ in the name, UFC featherweight Arnold Allen can’t help but get a few sets in with the big boy’s iron weights. “Almighty” Allen is wildly infamous for his outdoor training sessions with Papa Big Pace on his socials. He put another visceral session in, recently.

While other fighters heckle each other in the build-up for a spot to train at the UFC PI (Las Vegas), “Almighty” has his Eden. The featherweight recently swiped out Giga Chikadze at UFC 304. Even for that, he went viral training in his performance institute, aka his backyard with his father. Now, with a walkaround weight of around 184 lbs (almost 40 lbs cut down), he gives the deeds on another vlog.

We got a session in with Big Pace, will be up on my channel in a few days but be sure to subscribe not to miss out on this sketchy ar*e leg press, things older than me supported by a pallet and has rust holes, would you use it?

After UFC 304, Arnold Allen is ready to contend again. He now looks to avenge some of his losses for a way forward. However, some of his lofty revenge ideas might have already sailed away. The first of Allen’s back-to-back defeats was a close decision loss to Max Holloway.

The British featherweight was looking forward to avenging that fight night headliner loss. However, after his KO loss to Ilia Topuria at the UFC 308 PPV main event, the Hawaiian has said he’ll make lightweight his new home. Not for nothing, but there are other opponents such backyard prepping can go to.

Backstage at UFC Edmonton, Allen said he’s vying for whoever has got the gold. With Holloway breaking his 12-fight winning streak, he also lost to Movsar Evloev. Former title challenger Brian Ortega and Yair Rodriguez could be it in the early quarter of 2025. Lucky for him, some names have shown interest.

Former bantamweight Aljamain Sterling lost a very close decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) to Evloev at UFC 310 PPV. “Funk Master” set the funk with darting strikes and wrestle-heavy leans in quite a performance. Many even thought he’d win the affair. Despite the setback, he’s ready to get back to it soon.

Sterling is hoping his 1-1 record at featherweight and previous stint as a champ helps him hop on the horse soon enough. The top-10 matchup with Evloev was also quite a thing and could work in his favor. Instead of taking a step back, “T-City” or Arnold Allen (20-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) are looking like favorable options.

I would like to make a March return, …If I do get to get a fight for March, April the latest, I would like to fight Arnold Allen or fight Brian Ortega. I don’t think that loss to Movsar should push me down the rankings. I almost felt like it should be treated as a ‘W.’…It’s weird to say it like that because it might come off as funny to people to hear me say that, but honestly, that’s just how I feel.

Former Bellator double champion Patricio Freire is a new UFC featherweight signee. “Pitbull” Freire (36-7 MMA, 0-0 UFC) also name-dropped Allen and others recently while saying Sterling ducked him. Sterling, who had camp injuries before, said he needs time to recover fully in the pipeline he has provided. After that it’s a fair game; if not Allen or Ortega, he’d make that fight against anyone.
