Over the years, newly elected US President Donald Trump has developed relationships with several prominent individuals in the MMA community. One notable example is his connection with former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington. This relationship has also paved the way for other intriguing associations, such as the recently buzzed link-up between Covington and Elon Musk.
A few weeks ago, Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump was re-elected as the US President for a second term. In Trump’s quest for the second election term, many played an important role in it. Former UFC champion Colby Covington and Tesla CEO Elon Musk are two of such individuals on the list. However, given their mutual connection with Trump, both Covington and Musk recently met each other.
The two individuals met each other last night at the newly elected President’s Thanksgiving party. Later, Covington shared images of him with Musk. The UFC fighter is a pro-republican who has stood strongly with Trump in the latter’s political aspirations.

Over the years, along with several other UFC fighters, Covington has endorsed Trump. Due to this, as time passed by, the camaraderie between the two has significantly grown. Interestingly, similar to Covington’s strong support for Trump, the newly elected US President shares similar views about the UFC fighter.
Trump has frequently attended UFC events to watch Covington fight. Notably, he was present during Covington’s match against Leon Edwards at UFC 296. However, this raises the question of whether Trump will attend Covington’s upcoming fight, a question that Covington has addressed.
