Justin Gaethje is considered one of the hardest-hitting lightweight fighters in the UFC. However, his performance has declined recently. This led to sarcastic comments from several prominent individuals. Recently, even Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg might have taken a dig at that unknowingly. However, that didn’t stop the fight fans from sharing their reactions.
Mark Zuckerberg and his company recently announced next-generation smart glasses during their Meta Connect event. While demonstrating the features of those glasses, a highly buzzed clip of Max Holloway knocking out Justin Gaethje was played briefly. Fight fans quickly noticed and shared the presentation clip all over the internet.
The Meta CEO is an avid combat sports enthusiast and has attended several UFC events. Not only that, he has also had several training sessions with UFC fighters Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski. Interestingly, the clip in the presentation was from the fight between Max Holloway and Gaethje.

When Holloway defeated Gaethje, Zuckerberg was impressed with the ‘Blessed.’ As such, the Meta CEO even invited him over for a private poker party. Gaethje’s winning streak was broken again. With that loss, he seemed to have lost confidence. The lightweight star recently desired to leave the octagon for good if he experienced another brutal knockout. It remains to be seen what his next steps will be.
Fight fans react to Mark Zuckerberg’s recent presentation showing Justin Gaethje’s brutal KO loss
Over the years, Justin Gaethje has established himself as one of the toughest fighters in the lightweight division. His significant victories over Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler, and Dustin Poirier are some of the prime examples of it. Following his victory against Poirier, Max Holloway obliterated him. That fight itself drew several reactions towards Gaethje.
Zuckerberg doubled down on it at his recent Meta event. Fight fans reminisced about the UFC 300 encounter between Holloway and Gaethje, expressing sympathy for the former interim lightweight champion. Some even mentioned the anticipated fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Check out some of the reactions below.

Most of the reactions were a dig against Justin Gaethje which clearly indicates the sudden fall of his trajectory in the promotion. That being said, now it remains to be seen how does he jumps back from it. Moreover, it will also be interesting to see who Gaethje will fight next to turn the table.
