Stipe Miocic shares pictures of himself in a smouldering protective equipment, following a long day at the fire station

Stipe Miocic
In February, Miocic decided to join the Westlake Fire Department in Ohio as a full-time firefighter. The American who is often considered one of the best heavyweights of all time wanted to test his limits as a firefighter. The decision was not that sudden, as Miocic had been working as a part-time firefighter at the Valley View Fire Department for a long time now.
The UFC legend was simultaneously dealing with killers inside the octagon and dangerous flames outside it for a decade now. The passion to become a firefighter was always there inside the champ. He always considered them as the real heroes of America.

Miocic recently took to Twitter and shared some new pictures of him after a hard day at work as a firefighter. In the pictures, the former UFC heavyweight champion can be seen wearing a full protective fire-resistant suit. From his suit smoke can be seen coming out as the temperature is extremely high during the work. Stipe Miocic captioned the pictures by revealing that yesterday he did some hard work as a firefighter.
“Put in some work at the station yesterday?. #training #practicemakesperfect #firefighter” wrote Miocic.
Stipe Miocic has proved that he is a beast both outside and inside the octagon. In his UFC career, he has defeated fighters such as Roy Nelson, Fabrício Werdum, Alistair Overeem, Francis Ngannou, Daniel Cormier etc. Last year, at UFC 260 Miocic lost his championship belt to Ngannou via a brutal KO.
After that instead of getting a rematch, the fighter decided to take some time away from the sport. Many fight fans assumed that it might be the last fight for Miocic and he will retire soon. But Miocic made it clear that he has no plans of retirement and might take another shot at the title. Recently he was in line to fight Jon Jones in his heavyweight debut but that fight didn’t materialise. It will be interesting to see what’s next for the heavyweight GOAT.
